When can I access the Ticket Resale Platform?

The Ticket Resale Platform for The 153rd Open is available now! The Resale Platform launched on Tuesday 4 February and will be available up to and throughout The 153rd Open. 


How can I access the Ticket Resale Platform?

Members of One Club, our free online membership (including successful Ticket Ballot applicants) can access the Ticket Resale Platform to buy tickets. If you are not a member of One Club you can sign up for free here.

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets for The 153rd Open will be delivered digitally via The Open Tickets app 4-6 weeks prior to the Championship. Instructions on how, when and where to download the app and claim your tickets will be provided at that time.


What else do I need to know?

Sales made on the Resale Platform are fan-to-fan, which means we cannot guarantee the availability, or sale, of any tickets. However, the platform will provide a safe space for tickets to be bought and sold at face value prices. Please be aware that any tickets resold or advertised on a third-party platform are subject to cancellation without refund.


One Club members can purchase Adult and half-price Youth (16-24) General Admission tickets, and full-price Ticket Plus tickets. For more information about Ticket Plus, click here.


Fans will be able to purchase a maximum of four tickets per day of any tariff on the Ticket Resale Platform. This limit will be inclusive of any tickets obtained via the Ticket Ballot. All tickets sales will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The R&A cannot guarantee the availability of any tickets on the Resale Platform.


Please also note that any Youth (16-24) tickets listed on the Ticket Resale Platform can only be used by customers aged 24 and below for entry to the event and photo ID may be requested onsite. If you have purchased a Youth (16-24) ticket from the Resale Platform and the recipient of the ticket is 25 or older at the time of the event, the ticket will need to be upgraded. Instructions on how to upgrade a ticket will be available in due course.


Complimentary Junior and Carer General Admission tickets cannot be listed for sale on the Ticket Resale Platform and will therefore not be available for purchase.  However, please be aware that under 16s can still be admitted to the event using Youth (16-24) or Adult ticket tariffs. Should a One Club member purchase an Adult or Youth General Admission ticket on the Resale Platform and require a Carer ticket, please use the Contact Us form and a member of our Customer Service team will contact you via email to provide further information.

All ticket purchases on the Ticket Resale Platform are final. Tickets purchased from the Resale Platform cannot be listed again on the Resale Platform and will not be eligible for a refund, as per the Terms and Conditions of sale. Please be aware that any tickets resold or advertised on a third-party platform are subject to cancellation without refund.
