All tickets for The Open must be purchased through one of The R&A’s official ticket channels. These include:
- The Open Ticket Ballot.
- The Ticket Resale Platform for The 154th Open. Information about the Resale Platform for The 154th Open at Royal Portrush is available here.
- From The Open Experiences team on TheOpen.com or by telephone.
Third-Party Ticket Resale Platforms and Marketplaces
The R&A does not permit the resale of tickets on third-party websites, ticket sales platforms or marketplaces. This means that any tickets being sold on any third-party ticket resale sites or public marketplaces are being sold without The R&A's consent. Adult general admission tickets for The Open range in price from £30 - £140. Click here for a list of face-value prices.
Any general admission tickets being sold for higher than the prices above are not authorised by The R&A and may not be genuine tickets.
The R&A maintains a strong position that it is against our Terms and Conditions to sell tickets on public forums, third-party sites or for excess of the original face value of the ticket. Any tickets identified for sale or found to have been sold in such a manner are subject to cancellation without refund.
Persons who purchase tickets from third party resale sites and subsequently receive them via The Open Tickets app may therefore have those tickets deleted without prior notice.
