General Admission

No, complimentary Junior and Carer tickets cannot be listed for sale on the Ticket Resale Platform and are thus not available for purchase on the Ticket Resale Platform.

Please note that each spectator is entitled to purchase a maximum of four tickets of any tariff for each day of The Open, meaning that if you already have four tickets, you will not be able to add any additional tickets to your file.

Additional Junior Tickets

All attendees, regardless of their age, must have a valid general admission ticket to attend the event because every person, no matter their age, counts towards the total spectator count for the Championship. The R&A provides complimentary Junior tickets upon request where there is capacity to do so. You can view the current availability of Junior tickets here.

We strongly advise One Club members who require additional Junior tickets to check on the availability of Junior tickets before purchasing Adult or Youth tickets on the Ticket Resale Platform. Please note that under 16s can still be admitted to the event using Youth (16-24) or Adult tickets. This means that if you purchase an additional Adult or Youth ticket on the Resale Platform, a junior can enter using that ticket.

To request the addition of Junior ticket(s), please use the Contact Us button to make a request with the Ticket Office. Please note, junior tickets cannot be added via chat.

Additional Carer Tickets

The R&A provides complimentary Carer tickets to registered carers where there is capacity to do so. We strongly advise One Club members who require the addition of a complimentary Carer ticket to check on the availability of complimentary Carer tickets before purchasing Adult or Youth tickets on the Ticket Resale Platform.

Ticket Plus

There is no Junior tariff for Ticket Plus tickets. Junior spectators aged over 18 months require a paid Ticket Plus ticket which you can purchase (subject to availability) on the Ticket Resale Platform. 

Babies under 18 months can enter for free but require a complimentary Junior Ticket Plus ticket. After purchasing a Ticket Plus ticket for yourself, please contact The Open Experiences team to discuss the provision of a complimentary Junior Ticket Plus ticket as soon as possible by emailing Experiences@randa.org.

Request an Additional Carer Ticket

If you have purchased a Ticket Plus ticket, please contact The Open Experiences team by email at Experiences@randa.org to request the addition of a discounted Carer ticket.
