General Admission

Complimentary Carer tickets cannot be listed on the Ticket Resale Platform, and will therefore not be available to select during the purchase journey. However, it may be possible to add a complimentary Carer ticket to tickets purchased via the Resale Platform, subject to availability at the time.

We strongly recommend that fans check the availability of complimentary Carer tickets prior to purchasing tickets on the Ticket Resale Platform.

Instructions

To request the addition of a complimentary Carer ticket, One Club members must first purchase Adult or Youth General Admission ticket(s) on the Ticket Resale Platform. Please note: tickets purchased on the Resale Platform are non-refundable, as per the terms and conditions of sale, therefore it is not possible for tickets purchased on the platform to be converted to Carer tickets.

Fans should use the Contact Us form to request the addition of Carer tickets to their order. Please include the details of your order in your correspondence, including confirming the email address used for the purchase and the file number. Alternatively, fans can email tickets@randa.org with the same information.

The R&A Ticket Office will then respond to request one or more of the following documents, which must be provided to The R&A Ticket Office to complete the transaction:

  • Receipt of the standard or enhanced (also known as mid or high) rate of the Daily Living Component or the high rate mobility component of the Personal Independence Payment or Disabled Living Allowance for Children/Child Disability Payment for those under 16 years of age.
  • Receipt of either the Employment & Support Allowance or Attendance Allowance.
  • War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement or War Disablement Pension for 80% or more disability.
  • Blind or partially sighted registration certificate (Certificate of Vision Impairment (CVI) or A655 in Northern Ireland), or evidence from an eye specialist, for example an optometrist, that the individual would qualify to be registered as severely sight impaired (blind) or sight impaired (partially sighted).
  • Confirmation in writing from Social Services that the individual is included on their Deaf Register, or a letter or report from an aural specialist confirming that hearing loss has been recorded at 70 or ‘worse’.
  • Confirmation in writing from Social Services that the individual has a learning difficulty or disability. This may include proof of registration with Social Services, or if not on the Local Authority Register, a letter from a doctor or support worker confirming that the individual has a difficulty in learning new skills or may be unable to cope independently. For children – a letter from the head teacher at their school should also be sufficient.
  • A personal letter from the GP, community nurse or social worker that the individual has a long-term disability and requires assistance/support.
  • A Nimbus Access Card with the +1 symbol or other official documentation that a person might have to provide evidence that they require support from a carer in everyday life.

Please note, each One Club member can order a maximum of four tickets of any tariff, including complimentary Carer and Junior tickets. Additional tickets beyond this maximum cannot be added.

Ticket Plus

To request the addition of a Carer ticket, One Club members must first purchase a Ticket Plus ticket. They can then contact The Open Experiences team by emailing Experiences@randa.org to request the addition of a discounted Carer ticket.
