The 153rd Open

Applications for the Ticket Ballot for The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush have closed.

After its hugely successful staging in 2019, The Open returns to Royal Portrush in 2025. With home favourite Shane Lowry emerging triumphant at The 148th Open, there has been high demand for tickets as anticipation builds for another unforgettable Championship on the enchanting County Antrim coast in July 2025.

Ticket Ballot applications were open to all members of One Club, The R&A’s free-to-join digital membership platform, designed to bring golf fans closer to the game. Fans could also upgrade to One Club Advantage presented by Mastercard for an enhanced chance of success in the Ticket Ballot. The Ticket Ballot application period began on Monday 1 July and ended at 3 PM (UK time) on Wednesday 31 July.
