Tickets for The Open are transferable and can be given to friends, family members, guests etc.
Ticket purchasers will be able to access their tickets for The Open via The Open Tickets App smart phone application when tickets are delivered. This will happen 6-8 weeks prior to the championship.
After accessing your tickets via The Open Tickets App, you will be able to use the built-in transfer function to send tickets to other people, allowing each of them to use and display their own tickets. Although the name of the original purchaser will always be on the ticket, the original purchaser does not need to be present.
Instructions on how to use the built-in transfer function to send tickets to other fans will be published when the tickets are delivered.
