I have been sent tickets and I do not have a smartphone, what should I do?

Tickets for The 153rd Open have not yet been delivered. Tickets will be available on The Open Tickets app in the coming weeks.

Tickets for The Open are transferred through The Open Tickets app. If you are the recipient of a ticket purchased by someone else who is not attending and you do not have a smartphone, you should ask the purchaser of the ticket to Contact Us. They should provide us with the following details:

  • The file Number of the ticket order.
  • The name of the Original Purchaser
  • The postcode listed on their One Club account of the Original Purchaser (for security purposes)
  • The email address used to purchase the tickets
  • The Full name of each attendee and the ticket(s) they will be using, i.e. Adult/Youth/Junior and the day(s) they are attending

When you arrive at The Open, you will then need to go to one of the ticket offices located at any entrance. You should present a form of ID, such as a passport, driving license or bank card, to a member of the ticketing staff. Please inform the ticketing staff that you do not have a smartphone and are on the list of attendees without a smart phone. They will then assist you.
