Should I transfer tickets to my guests or keep them on my smartphone?

Modified on Wed, 7 May at 4:56 PM

Tickets for The 153rd Open have not yet been delivered. Tickets will be available on The Open Tickets app in the coming weeks.

We encourage all attendees to hold their ticket on their own smartphone wherever possible.

We recommend that each spectator have their own ticket on their own device to speed up entry on arrival, and to facilitate readmission on an individual basis. Spectators who wish to leave The Open venue and re-enter on the same day must display a valid admission ticket and a wristband upon re-entry.

Instructions on how to transfer tickets are available here.

Junior tickets are the exception to the above and can be kept on the smartphone of the adult who is accompanying the junior attendees. There is no requirement to transfer any Junior tickets you have on your smartphone.

If you are attending with someone who does not have access to a smartphone, tickets can be retained on a single attendees app. For more information, click here.
