How do I enter the venue with digital tickets?

Modified on Wed, 7 May at 4:11 PM

Tickets for The 153rd Open have not yet been delivered. Tickets will be available on The Open Tickets app in the coming weeks.

Spectators should ensure that their smartphone's battery is fully charged, and their internet and Bluetooth connections are enabled. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available at the venue.

Ticket holders need an internet connection to receive and transfer their tickets via The Open Tickets app. However, no internet connection is required to activate tickets on The Open Tickets app.

At the entrance, please have your smartphone ready, set your screen brightness to full, load The Open Tickets app and have your ticket ready with the QR code clearly visible.

Please note that tickets on The Open Tickets app will not display QR Codes until the tickets are activated. Tickets will activate within 36 hours of the gates opening.

Spectators from outside the UK should ensure their mobile device's time zone and clock is adjusted to UK time. This normally happens automatically.

Tickets in The Open Tickets app cannot be copied or screenshotted and any attempted copies will not be accepted at the venue.

If your phone's battery has run out, or you have any issues with ticket activation on the day you are attending, please go to a ticket office located at any entrance.
