The home of golf. An iconic venue synonymous with golf's original Championship. St Andrews will host The Open for the 31st time in 2027, five years on from Cameron Smith triumphing in a historic Championship played in front of record crowds.

Ticket Ballot


General Admission Tickets for The 155th Open will be be provided via a Ticket Ballot. The ticket ballot for St. Andrews will be open to applications in July 2026. This is the window in which fans can submit ticket applications with the results being announced in stages during August and September.


The ticket ballot will be available exclusively to members of One Club, The R&A's free-to-join digital membership programme. Fans can sign up to One Club at any time and be among the first to be notified when the ticket ballot is open.


Instructions on how to enter the Ticket Ballot for The 155th Open will be published on the Help Centre in due course.
