How do I access tickets for The Open without a smartphone?

Tickets for The 153rd Open have not yet been delivered. Tickets will be available on The Open Tickets app in the coming weeks.

The only way to access tickets is via The Open Tickets smartphone application. If you do not have a smartphone, you will need to go to one of the on-site ticket offices located near each entrance on the day of your arrival to gain entry to the event. 

If you purchased the tickets from the Ticket Ballot or the Ticket Resale Platform and wish to use the tickets for yourself

If you are the original purchaser of the tickets, you should bring proof of purchase (such as the PDF File Recap you received when you purchased the tickets) and a form of ID (such as a driving license or bank card). The on-site ticketing staff will be able to assist you with accessing your tickets and gaining entry to the event.

If you purchased the tickets from the Ticket Ballot or the Ticket Resale Platform and wish to send the tickets to someone who does not have a smartphone. 

If you plan to send tickets to someone who doesn't have a smart phone, you should use the Contact Us form to provide us with the following details: 

• The file Number of the ticket order.
• The name of the Original Purchaser
• The postcode listed on their One Club account of the Original Purchaser (for security purposes)
• The email address used to purchase the tickets
• The Full name of each attendee and the ticket(s) they will be using, i.e. Adult/Youth/Junior and the day(s) they are attending

Please send us this in advance of the event and ask your guests to bring either a driver's licence or a bank card with them for ID purposes. It would also be helpful for you to give one of the guests a copy of your order confirmation. When they arrive at the event, they should proceed to any of the ticket offices which are located next to the public entrances to The Open, where on-site staff will assist them with entry to the course.

If you are the recipient of tickets which have been sent to you by someone else and you do not have a smartphone.

When attending The Open you should bring a form of ID with you and go to one of the on-site ticketing offices, where the on-site staff will assist you.
